While industry-mechanical side Villa Clara, has gained awareness in terms of research activity and its crucial importance for the development, and efficiency of their businesses, it is still low overall, the number of results related to technological innovation and widespread obtained annually. However, it has been possible to meet the demand, due to insufficient production levels and the low quality of its products, which affect, among other factors, the limited experience on the technological and innovation processes. That is why we can say that the sector does not yet have procedures that enable diagnose and assess their technological and innovation processes, to analyze the factors that influence their development and provide adequate monitoring of the technological environment that enables discovery opportunities for improvement, develop a technology development plan, being in correspondence with the organization’s strategic goals, allows appropriate to seek ways to enhance their technological heritage and protect their products, knowledge and technologies. Evaluation Methodology technological innovation activities to characterize Technology Management and Innovation (GTI, hereafter) in enterprises under study as a starting point and an essential element for the development of technology strategy was used a general diagnostic procedure, developed by the author of this Work.
